Passing showers and storms are in the forecast for tonight. While a strong storm or two canât be ruled out, the severe weather threat is very low for tonight. Wednesday will be mainly dry before storms return on Thursday. Thursdayâs storms will likely be strong to severe.

We will start the day with temperatures in the middle 60s with highs warming into the middle 80s under partly sunny skies. The day will be humid and a spot shower canât be ruled out. However, most of the day should be dry.

We will be slightly above seasonal averages today (97) with temps likely hitting 100 this afternoon. Yesterday we topped out at 98.
We do expect some breeziness later this afternoon and early evening.
With above average temps and gusty conditions around, fire danger is higher than usual, especially in some areas to our North where Red Flag Warnings have been posted.
Dew points are also dry, which increasing fire dangers, but also makes your evaporative coolers to function more efficiently.
We ll hover near 100 all the way through the week.

ALERT DAY due to the threat of severe storms late this afternoon and evening. A cold front is approaching from the west and will be the trigger for any storms that are able to develop. There are still questions about where exactly the storms will start to fire and how strong they’ll be.
